Thank You!
I appreciate all your prayers and smses for my mum! And am so touched that my group mates came to visit my mum today with me too! And especially Stanley and Justin, for making adjustments to dinner plans to drive us down to the hospital! My mum was so amused by the flower and voice recording that she'd put it beside her to sleep! : ) Believing hard for a miracle for my mum to be healed yeah!

Over the Weekend
It's been a tiring week for me, not to mention the weekend in Pulau Tioman for my diving test. Tuesday was the most stretching, as I did yoga in the morning, golf in the afternoon, and diving practical at night at JB! My arms and legs were barely moving the next day! Laughs. But exercise is good yeah! And best yet, I've finally passed my diving test!! Yippeee!

Freak Accident
My happiness over passing the diving test came at a price though! On my 5th dive on Sunday morning, we were at the marine park and doing a wreck dive to check out the preserved sunken boats at 60 feet, when suddenly, my regulator broke!!! Worse still, I was without a buddy, as Meeshell stayed up on the boat several times, and the instructor had forgotten to reassign me a new buddy too. So there I was, alone at 60 feet without air, freaking out + breathing in water as I struggled to find my octopus (spare regulator). On purging it, I tried it out, but to no relief, as I was still drinking in water from the shock. But thank God at that point, I vaguely spotted my instructor a couple of meters and swam towards him in search for air, and in a desperate moment as I ran out of air, I pulled his regulator out of his mouth to breathe in a few mouthfuls of air! And really thank God too that it was the instructor that I bumped into, coz if it was any other trainee, I'd think he/she'd be in shock too, if I ever tried out a similar stunt! Haha...

Oookies, it's back to watching my last 3 episodes of 24 hours, Season 6! Haven't even started on Boston Legal which I borrowed from Don! And am persuading Stanley on msn to come join me in choir too, so I'll have a buddy to sing with in SOT! Haha, can't wait till thursday to go to his house to play PS, Wii and Bang! And...we have a secret plan up our sleeves too...sshhhh...I can't reveal it now! Winks~

Ohhh, and praise God, I got an A+ for Spanish! It's terribly hard to score on languages in my school, so it's a miracle that I did well - especially when I thought I was going to fail! It's really God's grace yeah!

Alrights, really gotta go! Till the next time, adios!

Sigh, just feeling kind of down today, and wishing someone, anyone, would just come by and cheer me up. Well, was struggling to wake up today, as I prepped to spend my day at the museum again. Gonna help out in the children's workshop for the first time, and hopefully it'll be much more fun than doing pick up or drop off.

Aftermath of exams. Well, I've been thinking hard of all the things that I wanna do before I start work in September, and a couple of them came to mind:

1. Get my Golf PC licence
2. Finish my diving test and get my diving licence
3. Pick up Jazz Piano Grade 1 or finish my Classical Grade 8
4. Finish my internship poster and comm svc report; file for graduation
5. Do a trip somewhere from 24 - 31 August

Don't know which I should actually do, but Number 4's a definite. Gonna finally finish my comm svc next mon and do yoga class and the golf clinic on Tuesday; can't wait to take a break! For Jazz, I was so inspired by Han when he played in Paris....remembered we were at one of the house parties at Min's hostel where there unexpectedly was a grand piano, and Han's fingers on the piano just simply swept us off our feet. I think it really takes skill to learn Jazz, and an inborn creativity to express in music what words sometimes inadequately fail to grasp. And what's more, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have ABRSM for Jazz too, and that Jazz Grade 1 requires a pre-requisite of Classical Grade 3. But it's the commitment and time to practice yeah, which I'm not sure if my work would allow me to, in time to come. Well, guess we'll wait and see!

Hello!

So glad my exams are over, so I can finally get to do the things that I have been wanting to do! Sigh, my exam papers were all kinda tough, so I am praying really hard for grace! Anyway, kinda bored now, so thought I'd blog. Just came home from watching a movie with Meeshell - we watched "Definitely, Maybe", and it's definitely one of the better love comedies that I like! Went to play the arcade after, till we were chased out coz it was closing! : ) Well, and tomorrow marks the start of my community service work at the National Museum! Have to complete that first, before I start SOT the following week, can't wait!

Anyway, bumped into Justin today too, and he he'll be going to Holland for his Exchange in August! Haha..I'm so excited for him....and also for the fact that he can get me stroopwaffles back for me! Laughs. Well, if time permits, I'd love to visit Europe again before I start work in Sep! Especially Spain, Portugal and Morocco....have to go Casablanca someday yeah!

Also, bumped into Melody today too, and it's awesome seeing her in school for the first time! Can't wait to have the cookout + pajamas party soOOOOOoon!

Yawns..Oh well, my mind's quite a blank now..and I'm gonna fall asleep soon if Lewis doesn't get home and come online soon; well goodnights for now!

My Failed Day at Studying. Haha, been trying hard all day, but I keep getting distracted by 1001 things! And worse still, of all days, I was in the lift with a friend at SESS today when I dropped my mobile in between the slits on the floor, and thus I'm uncontactable for the next 1 day till the lift maintenance guy comes in to retrieve my mobile tomorrow! What an absolute brainless move to drop my mobile with such good aiming!!!!?!?! Sigh, guess it'll be a miracle if my mobile did survive that fall! Argh.

Oh well, also, for these couple of days, for some reason I'd kept bumping into someone in school I'd always dreaded meeting. Sigh, it's sad that a good friendship's so easily blown yeah; and yet each time I meet him, a strange feeling just grips me as I shake it off and walk away. Maybe it's guilt, maybe it's a tinge of sadness, or a combination of both, I can't decipher it out. Well, anyway, think it's best if we don't ever meet yeah.

And something on a lighter note, out of the blue a guy texted me on Facebook today that his friends from my tax class had commented that we looked alike. And likewise I was slightly stunned as I checked out his profile too. Haha, I'd never thought I'd find a guy twin, and moreover someone I'd never met. Haha, on the brighter side, at least he's not bad-looking, so perhaps that's a relief for me yeah. Laughs.

Buried in my notes!
Argh, it's 5 days countdown to my exams, and I'm yet halfway through...haha sounds so me yeah. Though it's a little late, but yeah I've decided to give it my best shot before I graduate! Wink~

BIBLE SCHOOL!
Haha, never thought that I would go this year, but it was a sudden and immediate decision at a service some weeks back! But what surprised me more, was that I've met so many of my friends at SOT orientation on Monday - and most of them whom I'd never expect to come! Met Sheena, Wendy, HuiFen, Daniel Nic...ohh and Stanley! Haha..what a shock I got..coz he was just talking to me a few weeks back when I just decided to join SOT and I told him to consider coming too...and wow now we're classmates! Haha oh well...I think there are many surprises to come soon too!

Silly Me! Guess what? I did en extremely dumb thing on Monday, when I drove to church for the orientation - I got LOST both on the way there and back home! And worst of all, I forgot to bring my mobile out...haha and poor me was praying really hard alone in the car for revelation. Sigh, and it didn't help with the rain while driving too...haha what a day. Guess the saying follows, it never rains but pours! Well, but anyway, all things ended well, as our group won 2nd in the Orientation day! Awesome!

200 Pounds Beauty

Got this show from Mr Foo Yongxi, and watched it in the library yesterday (while I was supposedly studying), and I thought it was an awesome show!

It's about Hanna, a girl who, due to her enormous size and weight, sings backstage for a dancer who lip-sings upfront. However, as she fell in love with her producer, she realizes she had to do plastic surgery in order to be a singer and to win his heart. But little does she know that he hates plastic girls...and...go watch the show to know the rest of the story yeah! Winks~

Oh, and one other thing that captivated my attention was really the choice of cast as well! The girl is pretty sweet...and..I have to admit that the producer is really good-looking! Haha..and I don't often say that of guys...so you should better go watch the show yeah!

Okie dokes, it's back to books, sOtz. Oh yeah, and this is the first time I've learnt to do a screen capture with my laptop! It's Command + Shift + 3! Haha..what a mac idiot I am! argh..
