Waiting for it to snow!

Hello! Couldn't sleep, so I thought I'll blog! Anyway, we just arrived in Paris yesterday...and it's freezing cold here! Expected to have snow showers here today, so kinda looking forward to it! Anyway, thanks so much for all of you who came to send me off! So touched, coz my flight was at 2+am, and you all stayed so late! Thanks for all the presents too! Daniel, thanks for the iDog and Godiva mints! It was really yummy! And Meiling, you didn't have to give me the coin purse and money! Was so shocked when I opened it on the plane! But I really appreciate your thought!

Just for updates, we've settled into a nice, cosy apartment near the Lourve! It's so convenient around my area...with food and shopping nearby, the bank, ohh and the post office! Promised to write postcards, and I will! Ohh and there's a carnival nearby too, with a pretty merry-go-round, like the one on the French show! Just love walking on the streets, coz it's beautiful here! Can't wait to explore more today! : )

Okies, guess I should go back to sleep, coz it's still 5am, and eons till the sun rises. See you!

"What divides your world from mine, is probably just your perception and mine."

The Annual Event. Celebrated Gab's birthday just now with Daphne and Meiling, and it was really good catching up! We should do more of this in future! Also, after dinner I sat outside Wheelock Place talking with Gab for over an hour, and we talked about alot of stuff, especially on relationships and all. Haven't talked with him in ages and kinda miss it, coz somehow after our talks I always feel this peace on the inside, no matter how troubled I may be. Guess I'm really glad to have a friend in him!

Bridge Gang! Met Sue and Gorgeous after talking with Gab too at Sakae, and hey girls, if you're reading this, I'm really glad that you both always make time to meet up! So sad that we didn't have the chance to play bridge, but look forward to doing that when Gorgeous comes back in Dec! Ohh ya, the last time I went out with them for dinner, we went to this really neat place at Harding road called PS Cafe, short for ProjectShop Cafe, named after ProjectShop Blood Bros. Was a really nice and exclusive restaurant, but pretty ex though! Ohh, but the beef was awesome, and you all should try it out if you can!

Dieting Troubles. Laughs. Went with Meeshell and her parents to Genting, and gosh there's no way trying to lose weight there! We ate a sumptuous buffet on the first night there, and had lots of food the next few days! Ohh, and our accomplishment was that we completed the 20 stages of photohunt at the arcade! Haha...guess it is a cheap thrill, but was definately not easy completing all the stages! Took us almost $40 in all! Also, we went down KL for a day trip to do our hair at the Mid-Valley Mega Mall. Meeshell rebonded hers for $500, while I had a hair cut and highlight (which can't be seen at all) for a ridiculous $264! Guess I'm stuck with this hairstyle for the next few months!

Last but not least, want to say a big thank you for all your presents and farewell gifts, really touched! Do sms me your addresses, so I can send you all postcards! Take good care yeah!

Bonjour!

Wow, time seems to fly yeah! Meeshell's finally back from HK! Gonna go Genting together this week, before we leave next week. Haha, actually it doesn't kinda feel like I'm leaving anytime soon, coz I've been so slack these past few weeks! Have finished 3 seasons of LOST, and the 2nd season on prison break! Both were really nice! You have missed out on ALOT if you've not caught either of it!

Like the French do. Well, was at the French Embassy a few weeks back, and gosh do they live up to their name of being stuck-up and lazy! Took like the whole morning to fill up 4 sets of forms in French, and a major part, waiting for the one and only guy to return from his occasional tea breaks! Anyway, got to meet this nice lady while waiting, and she happened to be going to Paris too! Her husband's Canadian and works in Paris, so she has to shuffle back and forth on visas. Was asking her all about Europe, and guess what; she told me that she hates the environment in Paris, as conversations with the French are always so stifled, and people aren't as friendly as you grow older. So I asked which place in Europe she loved the most, and to my surprise she said Amsterdam, that it's a beautiful place. Guess I have to go find out myself yeah!

Travelling Tales. Growing more and more excited about the travelling plans we have in Europe! Have already booked the flights for our first hols (24th feb - 12 mar) from Paris - London - Edinburgh - Dublin - Paris, all within 100 euros! Amazing yeah! Prob gonna book for Berlin the week after too, coz Gracie said it's pretty cheap too! For train passes, we're still deliberating on which to get though..prob get the 15-days for use in France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Benelux (includes Belgium, Lux and Amsterdam). Italy's up for the whole 3 weeks break through Easter in our 2nd hols! Can't wait to go there, esp to Venice, Florence and Rome! And last but not least, to Eastern Europe after exams! Prague, Austria and Krakow, plus Croatia and Bulgaria too if possible! Cd go visit Goga and Stanislav! Wow, it's like almost 2 years man, since we've met in the States. Time spins by!

Okie dokes, have a great week ahead!

Happy New Year!

Hope it isn't too late, but my BEST WISHES to all of you reading this, in this new year of yours!Really sorry that I haven't been able to reply any of the messages, coz I'd left my hp at my uncle's house in JB, and will only be getting it back tml. So, my apologies!

Fireworks Galore! Been exhausted today, but feeling great! Went night cycling with Daniel, BengChuan, Jie, Andy, Kelvin, ML and her bf on New Year's Eve! It was my first time cycling overnight, and boy was it tiring! Yet, thought it was quite an achievement, as we cycled from East Coast to Esplanade to watch the fireworks. Man, it was awesome, as we stood just right under the fireworks! Then following, we cycled all the way up to Thomson for prata, almost reaching Sembawang! Gosh, do my legs and butt ache so badly now, but it was really worth it! Must be quite bad for Daniel especially, as he'd just had a bike accident just on Christmas Eve while rushing to church, and had an arm fracture and leg injuries. Guess he's much more tolerant to pain than I was previously yeah. Well, hope he gets well soon!

Thoughts. Got to talk with my cousin today at my uncle's house, and dude it was great catching up! Talked alot about relationships and all, and honestly, he really got me to think about settling down. Guess I will yeah..and soon too, I promise! Laughs.

Date me! Lol. BUT seriously, I really wanna meet each of you sometime these next 2 weeks; especially those I haven't seen in a long time! Really miss you all! Guess for one, we'll be celebrating Gab's b'day sometime soon yeah. Great time to catch up, and see you all sooOOOoon!
