Grins.

Had a tiring, but good day! Can't get to sleep, so I thought I'll blog instead. I'll wanna write down my whole day's events, so bear with me! : )

Went out with a good friend of mine today! Coincidentally, he took a day's leave from NS, so we met early in the day. We went for lunch at scotts, followed by some shopping. To my surprise, we got spotted by Meiling at Heeren! I got a shock, coz I was supp to meet her later on in the day. : ) Chatted for a while, while she walked us to cine. After which, he treated me to watch Kung Fu Hustle! It was an exaggerating-funny kind of show, just like what elson said. But didn't think he enjoyed the show though, coz he fell asleep! Laughs.

Well, anyway after that, we walked slowly to orchard, and back to scotts again for coffee bean! He was supposed to meet his parents for dinner I think, but he was really nice, and waited with me all the way until Meiling came! We chatted the whole way through, from 5 to 8pm. Really missed talking to him, and I was really glad for today. Felt bad after that though, coz he forgot he was supposed to attend a cg outing which was held today too! But well, I'm still glad we met up. : )

Anyway, after Meiling came, we headed to buy some stationery, and then to meet up with Sue, Sheena and Gorgeous at NYDC! Munched on some cakes before we met up with Sheryl and went on to Zouk. At Zouk, surprisingly, I met quite a few of my school friends. Sigh, talking of school; school's starting next wk. The hols flew past so fast yeah.

Okie..gonna stop short coz I'm starting to feel a little sleepy now. I'll rest my head for a while before heading to school tml. : ) Goodnights.

My Dearest Partner!

OooH! It's Christmas Eve already! Gosh. How the year flies past!

Anyway, am SO GLAD! Coz I've just received an email from my dearest partner (Lydia) in Perth! Remembered last time in sec sch, we used to quarrel so much with each other. But now, we're best of friends! It's a pity, she's migrated with her family to Perth ever since after VJ, and is studying veterinary there. Miss her sOo..much! Her email's so interesting, I've decided to share some bits here!

She's going into her 3rd year (out of 5) come feb, and has been doing farm animal handling for the past 13 weeks. For practicals, she has to catch animals, groom them, pull out their tongues to check for illnesses, and extract their blood for testing etc. Gosh, wonders how she ever does those. For one, I can never do all these, coz I'm just not brave enough. She definately has guts man. -_-

She's also attached now, to Peter, who's the president of the OCF (Overseas Christian Fellowship) in Perth. Really glad for her! : ) Best of all, on her 21st birthday, she had a Biblical themed party, where everyone had to dress up as someone from the Bible! Cool! That's really the first I've ever heard! She said people came in as "Samson", "Peter, James and John in their fishing boat" , "Queen Esther & King Xerses" , "John the Baptist", " a beggar", "Mary Magdalene", "Noah with heaps of animals from his ark", "Lazarus - wrapped in white linen strips", "Noah's 3 daughter in laws", "Satan", etc. Awesome yeah? Wished I was there to celebrate with her too! : ) Wonders which character I'll choose...maybe as the boy with 5 loaves 2 fish eh? Grins. Sigh, I miss her so.

Ooh ya, she mentioned that she's stayed in Cleveland, Ohio for a year when she was 8 too! What a coincidence, coz that's the same place I'll be going to, come May! : ) Guess I must learn to be more independent, coz I'm having trouble even with ironing (esp my dad's pants). It's frustrating, I just can't get the pleats right! Argh.

Anyway, I've missed my sec class outing this wk on tues. Feel so bad, coz I've not been for any of their outings ever since we've graduated 4 years ago. Wonders how everyone else looks like now? HmMm. Anyway, missed support today too, and Ushin's concert, coz I had attend a xmas dinner at my uncle's house. Forgot I was supp to meet Corn for dinner too. Sorry boy!

Sigh, I really have to eat less too! Been eating loads the past week! Tues, Gorgeous's mum bought us a log cake, which was so delicious! And Wed we dined at 2 crystal jade restaurants. Furthermore, I met Meiling, Wai Tat, Jia Yi, Norman and Dennis for supper at Somerset later again that day! Feeling so bloated! And for today, I had too much turkey! Ate once at my uncle's house, and again at my dad's cg party! Warning big time! Stomach - overload! Argh..ok, diet starts this Sunday! No more compromises! Do remind me if I forget!

Okie...gonna fall into bed now. Sweet dreams to all! And a Merry, Merry Christmas! Hohoho...

Christmas isn't Christmas'
Til it happens in your heart.
Somewhere deep inside you
Is where Christmas really starts.
So give your heart to Jesus
You'll discover when you do
That it's Christmas,
Really Christmas for you.

Verse:
Jesus brings you warmth like a winter's fire
A light like a candle's glow.
He's waiting now to come inside
As he did so long ago.
Jesus brings gifts of truth and light
And makes them bloom and grow.
So welcome Him with a song of joy
And when He comes, you'll know...

Chorus:
That Christmas isn't Christmas'
Til it happens in your heart
Somewhere deep inside you
Is where Christmas really starts.
So give your heart to Jesus.
You'll discover when you do
That it's Christmas, really Christmas
Christmas, really Christmas
Christmas, really Christmas for you.

Full up!

Day at JB! Still feeling so full after the seafood! Well, we arrived in JB ard 10+ in the morning, and started the day with tim sum at the New Hong Kong restaurant that Elson recommended. After, we headed to City Square to shop and watch Ocean's Twelve. At night, Tim's dad treated us to a 9-course dinner at my favourite Peking restaurant! It was nice of him!

Thanks God! Got back my semestral results, and it's really by His grace that I've done well. Still, I do have to work harder next sem, yeah. Been slacking a bit this sem, have to outgrow my habit of doing last minute studying and homework. Ok, that shall be one of my new yr's resolution! : )

Camp. Gonna be at a school camp this wed-fri. Been bumming for the hols, so I guess it's time for work again. Don't be lazy, sotzy.

F-MIA! Stands for Femme-Missing in Action! Sigh, she's back in Indonesia for 2 weeks. It's only been 2 days, and I'm missing her lots. Not to forget, everyone's probably on clothes-rationing this week, coz I'll be at camp and can't iron. Sigh, it's good house-wife training yeah? In line with my xMas resolution #5. (Look below) Laughs.

Christmas docking! We should have a party of some sort, yeah? What's Christmas without celebrations? Grins. So happy too, coz Sue and Gorgeous's just back this week! Missed them sOOoo..much! Gonna meet up at 6pm at sommerset today! Sandra's missing as usual again! Sigh..That girl! Grins.

Ky. That's all for now. Gotta do my ironing before I head out! Cya all around!

FYI. The song u're hearing's I Believe in Love, by Tata Young. Nice yeah. Corn, u can go download, and quit refreshing. : )

ABBA: The Winner Takes it All!

It's my fave song from the musical Mama Mia! Old songs are pretty meaningful yeah?

Sweet Honeymoon. Anyway, my mummy n daddy were just back on Sunday. They went on a secret honeymoon over the wkend, coz it was my mum's b'dae on mon! Haha...i think the idea was pretty neat, though i'm huffing and puffing that they didn't bring me along : ) Their 25th Anniversary's in 2007, and my dad is planning for us to stay in NZ for a whole 2 Months! Awesome! We have lots of crazy ideas, one of which is to stay in a caravan n drive around! That's one of my dreams when I was young! To drive a caravan! Laughs.

Mahjong! Learnt it for the first time at tim's house after the cg bbq! It's really quite an interesting game! For one, I have to state we were NOT gambling; we never played with money. Besides luck, I guess it takes lots of skill and practice to master the game : ) Going to play it again today! Kind of addictive, eh?

Singing! Sang for the first time this wk, and honestly, it was nerve-racking. Coz I didn't know the new worship song, much less its lyrics. During worship for svc 5, I had to peep thru to catch the lyrics, coz I was just mumbling. But the 2nd time I half-opened my eyes, I got a BIG shock, coz the first thing I saw was the camera's lens! I shut my eyes immediately, but guess it was too late, coz Char spotted me n my shocked look on screen. Sigh, just not my day I guess. It was Erina doing the cam that day too, laughs. Prob gonna laugh it over with her someday.

Bro Darren's Zone Conf. Pretty excited to hear about it, though I'm not in his zone. It's called Raising the Standard Conf. Heard about it from wendy, and gab asked today too. So tempted to go, perhaps I'll catch the thursday session.

CG Band! Starting one, today!! Gonna play the keyboard, Tim on the drums, Elson on the guitar, Glenn on the bass, and Wai Tat, singing! : ) SO excited! Meeting at 2 at commonwealth! Cya guys there!

Okie, gotta go bathe n rush out! Blog again sooOOOooOOooOOOoOOooN!
