sOtz at work!
Sigh, it's term break, but sotz is hard at work again. Wonders why I seem to like torturing myself too, laughs. Anyway, have my 2nd interview tonight too; half expecting that I'll be tipping my nerves, but surprisingly there's this unnatural calmness inside of me. Well, wish me all the best yeah!

Pay-to-Sleep Program
Also, Ah Long yesterday was absolutely lame - and I think Gab himself was even much lamer - he slept for like half the show again! Had to squeeze his arm like a dozen times to keep him awake - haha it's an expensive nap man. Anyway, was great hanging out still - we talked for quite a while at the MRT - and I'll remember what I promised to do by the time he gets back from US - and am very determined to do so!

Give me some encouragement yeah! : )

Hello! My Lady!

A korean drama that I've been addicted to this weekend! Supposed to be studying my Income Tax, but I couldn't resist the temptation of catching a glimpse of my fave korean actor - Lee Ji Hoon - i can't help but admit that he's awfully cute. Laughs, and once, I thought that only secondary school girls would be the silly infatuated ones. Anyway, Gab just called to confirm the movies tml - he wanted to watch the upcoming korean comedy too - so guess I'm not the only over-aged korean fan. *wink~

Seriously, I've thought of planning a trip to Korea sometime this year..but my schedule's still so uncertain...still hopefully it'll work out. Sigh, and there's also like a 1001 other places that I wanna go to as well - South America, Middle East, South Africa, and the list goes on. Even thought of meeting Gab on his Europe tour next year in Amsterdam to try out the mexican mushrooms which I missed out on last year! Haha oops maybe I shouldn't be declaring this aloud yeah. Anyway, let's see how it goes.

Meanwhile, sOtz concentrate!

Cap ou pas cap

Une vie entière pour se dire "je t'aime". 80 ans pour démarrer une histoire d'amour. Et tout ça à cause d'un jeu. Ou peut-être grâce à un jeu.

It means...it takes a whole lifetime to say "I love you". It took 80 years to start the history of love; and all because of a game. Or perhaps thanks to this game.

This is probably my all-time favourite movie...not because of its inherent ambiguity, but simply because it reflects so much on the human life. Aren't we all sometimes like that? Getting obsessed with something, and it takes up your whole life, just to realize at the end it was a mistake through and through. Even halfway when we know we're heading down the wrong path, sometimes we just choose to live in our ignorance, or perhaps even dwell upon the fact that we have so much vested interest through the effort that we've put in. Or perhaps it's just pride that keeps us from admitting the truth; or the fear that we'll lose much more if we choose otherwise. Well, either way, I think it takes a lot of courage to make that change; coz change inevitably carries with it a whole spectrum of uncertainties. What will my life be 5 years down, I can't say for certain. Can't even visibly visualize it - but I know for certain who I want around me - the people that I value, and the people that value me. It's a good thing to have wants sometimes, yeah? : )

Hmmm anyway I just got off msn with a friend; someone I've been trying to trust, but for some reason, the more I do so, the more I feel I get hurt by him. Perhaps it's because we started off at the wrong track, knowing each other better for very different reasons. And no matter how hard I try to get it back right, it seems that he remembers me for the totally wrong reasons. It scares me, cos his memory personifies me as someone whom I don't ever want to be. And..that saddens me a lot, really. Well, I guess if it's ever possible, I would like to start as friends again on a clean slate. But for most part, I guess I'd just have to recognize the impossibility, and that restoration in most circumstances, cannot revert things back to its original. But even if it's just close to 80% original, I'd be more than thankful. It's hard to change impressions yeah - so that should teach me to set things right from the start.

Alrights, I have to rush some work before getting to school. sOtz, study hard!

High School Musical

Absolutely adore the 2 HSMs! First watched High School Musical in Tokyo last year, and it was amazing!

Addicted!

Everyday
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens

Once in a lifetime, means there’s no second chance
So I believe than you and me, should grab it while we can
Make it last forever, and never give it back
It’s our turn, and I’m loving where we’re at
Because this moment’s really all we have

Everyday, of our lives
Wanna find you there, wanna hold on tight
Gonna run, while we’re young
And keep the faith
Everyday, from right now
Gonna use our voices and scream out loud
Take my hand
Together we will celebrate!

They say that you should follow
And chase down what you dream,
But if you get lost and lose yourself
What does it really mean
No matter where we’re going
It starts from where we are
There’s more to life when we listen to our hearts
And because of you, I’ve got the strength to start

Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Everyday, of our lives
Wanna find you there, wanna hold on tight
Gonna run, while we’re young
And keep the faith
Everyday, from right now
Gonna use our voices and scream out loud
Take my hand
Together we will celebrate!

We’re taking it back,we’re doing it here, together!
It’s better like that, and stronger now, than ever!
We’re not gonna lose, 'cause we get to choose.
That’s how it’s gonna be!

Term Break!

Yeah, the hols have arrived! Still, I’d say I wouldn’t have much hols actually, coz of the tight work schedule, sigh. Anyway, promised myself I’ll make the best of it! Really need to kinda de-stress…been really tired the last few months since last semester. Gonna have to mug over this weekend, but at least I’m meeting gab on monday for a movie. Thought of watching the comedy - Ah Long, that everyone’s been recommending…well, hopefully he won’t fall asleep again this time. And following, another interview’s scheduled on tues, and then the much awaited company dinner at st.regis on wed. : ) and yesh not forgetting, the dreaded income tax exam on Friday – there’s one thing I can be sure of – I can’t be a tax planner – really takes one who's calculative and scheming to do so – or actually okies, I have to be a little kinder – smart and evasive – to do so.

Oh well, that sums my week ahead. Hoping to squeeze in some time here and there to catch up with some of you!

Have a great term break yeah!

St James Powerstation

It was my first visit there last night - and in a white suit coz Gab wanted to go at the last minute when I was already at work. Anyway, I thought it was a neat place to chill - there were about 3 or 4 clubs - dragonfly for canto pop, powerhouse for disco and jazz, and the best was the boiler room for R&B and live rock band! it was my first time clubbing with Gab, and I'd say he's a pretty good dancer! Bumped into Keith, Joanna and gang there too! Oh, and Lijun from UK too! The performers there were really not bad too - and extremely hilarious! Oh well, and after we called Jia En down too to celebrate her bday for her at Charcoal as well! The grill there was really not bad - especially the beef! ML loved the tiger prawns too! Yum yum!

Oh, and Jumper was not bad too - the typical action show - but half the time Gab was sleeping beside me, and I had to turn around to nudge him like a dozen times, before he got to some red bull. haha...well actually i wonder why he has to be so hard on himself sometimes. Perhaps in life most times it's much easier - and perhaps better - to just let go. It's something we all know somewhere at the back of our mind, yet we don't trust ourselves to do it. Well, be it voluntarily or involuntarily, when life gets to us, we will have to at some point or the other yeah. So in the meantime, just chill!

Alrights gotta run some errands before heading to cg, see ya!

Bittersweet

That's the song title of one of Kelvin Kern's songs! His solo pieces are just awesome! Hmmm don't know why, but each time I listen to his songs, I just feel like tearing. Maybe it's the way he composes...it really moves people's hearts and emotions. Sigh, or maybe there's just too many things on my mind.

Anyway, gonna meet gab and ML later for movies - Jumper! SMU has tics at only 6bucks with a free drink and popcorn - awesome deal! Time to treat myself after 2 stressful interviews this week! And it's post-Valentine's break too yeah, laughs.

Alrights, back to work sOtz!

Wow, take a look at this video - I absolutely love the sound of this piano - bright, crisp, yet really smooth.

Back in my office everyday, I have a colleague (David) who watches piano pieces on YouTube everyday, and now I can finally understand why. : )

Watch This!

I can't help but tear each time I sing this song. There's just something about this song that connects to my soul...last week when we sang it at BBG, I was practically sobbing. And it was this song that brought me back to my keyboard, which haven't been dusted in ages. Remembered a long time ago, I used to play on the keyboard for my friend when she was angry or sad; and played till it calmed her down and all was well.

Sigh, I wish somehow someone could do it in turn for me too. : )

My portrait done in Hangzhou! Hope I can squeeze in time to sort my photos by this sat for the reunion at sheryl's place! Can't wait! : )

And sorry, I haven't had time to catch up with most of you yet, but I will soon, I promise! Life's been a swirl since I came back, and hopefully it'll simmer down soon. Well just for updates, I'm currently still doing my last semester at SMU, as well as a part time internship at Starwood, and also finishing up my Final Year Project by Term 3A! Wow, can't wait to graduate in July - and I hope that all my closest friends will be able to come for my graduation - Oh, won't you? Well, we definately have to take some pictures together yeah!

And meanwhile - sOtz you have to be on a MAJOR diet! laughs. wish me luck yeah!
