Went shopping alone today! It isn't so bad after all...oh..n I realised one of the best clothes advisors are the sales girls themselves. After seeing dozens of ppl in the same outfit, they can tell u straight off if u look good in it or not. Bought some clothes for my bash and my bdae party this wkend..kinda looking forward to both...but guess it's really alot of work! Went down to Funan to order my cake..guess wat...i ordered an 8-kg ice cream cake! It's the most expensive cake I've ever gotten man. Hope it's good! I'm so excited to see how the design turns out! I sat down with Meiling n the managers to discuss the sound, lightings, seating arrangement and sequence of events etc. Technical details. Have no idea wat's the itinerary though...Meiling and Tim's planning the whole party. Oh, but do be sure u come in the RIGHT dress code! U don't wanna be saboed by me! Well...all I can say is that it's gonna be really fun! The manager's gonna stop all walk-in visitors an hr before the party for us to decorate! And he's letting us have the whole restaurant till it closes! So u wdn't wanna miss this! Wink~
Went jogging with my mum this morning too! She's been complaining about the weight she put on in China...and after jogging 5 rounds (and walking another 3)...she declared she has lost weight! She pointed to her tummy n said..."see..smaller already!" Laughs..what a cute mum I have! Miss her so much when she was in China! -- Mummy, I love u! Grins. Well, after jogging, my sister bought us breakfast, while we re-watched the crying show again. Wonder what's the crying show? Well, it's labelled that, coz the first time my mum watched it, she used up EVERY single piece of tissue in the house! Laughs. She uses it to make herself cry every now n den now...whenever her eyes are too dry to remove her contacts! Ha. It's the only show that never fails to make me tear too! It's called Autumn in my Heart! (Qiu Tian De Tong Hua) -- It's one of the rare Korean dramas that I've watched. When I was watching part of it today, I was tearing non-stop though. Don't know why too..perhaps just too many thoughts in my mind. But anyway, do catch that show if u haven't gotten the chance to!
Listening to some instrumental songs now! Here's my fave one: [Pachabel] First heard this song when I played it at handbells! Been tryin to find the original piano score for this, but to no avail! Sigh. Was seriously thinking of picking up piano again..but have yet to find the time to do so. Wanna learn how to compose my own songs too! That's my dream! Wished I cd compose songs that wd make ppl tear too!
Well..guess it's always never too late to re-start afresh. Yeah?

In plans to set up a band in our zone! Just for leisure...and to jam around! I'm so excited, coz it's been ages since we last had a zone activity! Hope this wd enable the different youth CGs to interact more with each other! Anybody interested to join? We're still looking for suitable jam studios, preferably centralized in town/city if possible. Having it on sat nights! It's gonna be cool, coz actually I do think we have many unexplored talents in our zone! From keyboardists, drummists, guitarists, bassists, singers! Hopefully this wd spur on more zone events too!
SO if you have any suggestions, do voice out!

Why are there so many songs about rainbows
and what's on the other side?

FIRST day of school!
Ooh! Starting school at 145 later! Can't wait! Kinda excited, after rotting for almost a yr! But I have a really slack timtable too! Only 3 days/wk! Laughs. Cause I have only 3 modules instead of the normal 5; 2 exemptions. Waiting for the bidding results to be out for my 4th module! *Oh it's 12! Away*
*Back* Oh no! I didn't get the module I bid for! Hmph. Just have to bid again in BOSS 2! Argh.
Oh ya, it's my daddy's birthday today tOo! --> 16th Aug! Gonna cut birthday cake later tonight! His CG members bought him an Emi Durian Cake, durian puffs, and choc mini cakes! Yummy yUm! ooH! And Mummy Tan's back tOo! Finally! SHe's been in China for the past mth, and shopping in HK tOo - without me! ArgHh..laughs.
The past wk was great tOo! Had school orientation the whole wk rd. They brought in a Jazz band on Mon for SIS orientation, which I thot was cool. Wished I cd engage one for my birthday, but it costs like $500/hr! Faints. Den Tues was VIVACE, where we had our CCA fair. Signed up for so many, I have no idea which to join. Wed-Fri was the Pow Wow orientation camp! The camp was just average, but I had a really fun OG group! Everyone was really supportive of each other..and it was really fun! Met lots of friends too, kinda have trouble remembering their names! So I'll just smile instead!
Had fun yest tOo! Had an awesome svc, n great fellowship! did my nails at church for only $4! Laughs. Went to watch fireworks at night too, and eat my fave NYDC! oH, GAB - rem to send the photos!
Oh no! Gotta run..gonna be late for school! AHhh..
