Detroit! Just came back from there, and it was amazing! Stayed at my friend's house, and we shopped at 2 malls, the latter one at Great Lakes Crossing was simply awesome! It's so huge, and I bought lots of Guess, Tommy, and Roxy stuff! Gosh, gotta cut down on my spending! This is the first time I've ever shopped so much for myself! Coz many a time, I'll just be shopping for people. It's been a great trip! Airryale's got like over a 100 DVDs in her basement, and it's the first time I've ever seen a mini movie place in a basement, with a bar counter and all. Watched The Butterfly Effect tog with Sheng and Hui; it was a really sad show though. Wished we had more time to watch much more! Laughs

New Roomates. I've just moved out of Commons into Bayside! I used to share a big apartment with 15 other girls, but now this new apartment only holds 6. It's so much better here, coz we won't have to fight for the restrooms and fridge-space, and we have a TV here! Laughs. MeeShell and Pam moved together with me, and we share the apartment with Hui, Hongxiu and Mel. Unofficially, Thomas also sleeps here too, though he has his room over at Commons, and the other guys have the apartment opposite. It's really cosy, coz the rooms here are carpeted. Feels so much more like home now. Laughs. Oh ya, for those who have my number, my extension has changed to 4282 instead of 4325.

Cleveland! I'll be goin down to the baseball game this wed! Kirby's driving us down to shop at an outlet, before watching the game. MeeShell's all excited! She even bought a baseball bat and ball! Laughs.

NYC! Planning to go down to New York for 4 days in August. Can't wait to watch Phantom of the Opera at Broadway! Feels like I'm holidaying already ya? Laughs. Gonna take the overnight greyhound bus down, and planning to visit the Statue of Liberty, Chinatown, Madison Square, the famous Fifth Avenue, Wall Street, Little Italy, and Central Park! Practically the whole of Manhattan! Hopefully, we can cover Brooklyn too yeah. Sigh, wished time wd pass faster.

Put-In-Bay. Oh, forgot to write about this. It's a quaint island not far from here, and we took a day trip there on one of our free days. The place is serene, and windy too. We visited the caves, winery and the chocolate factory there, and sun tanned for most part of the day. We visited 2 churches on the island, and they were both so beautiful! It was empty though, coz it was a weekday. One was called St. Paul's Church. We stepped in, and there was this peaceful feeling inside. I sat down and played the piano, and surprisingly everyone sat down to listen. All of them stood still as I played, and MeeShell whispered afterward that I played well. Was really glad that I could still remember how to play, coz I haven't played a real piano in ages. The other church was called The Mother of Sorrows, and there was this really sad tinge in the air, contrary to the previous one. There were many stained glass windows panelled, and the ceiling was carved beautifully. I knelt down at the altar, and strangely, I teared as I prayed. I really miss church back home, and my mum has been asking me if I want to come back home, coz I haven't been attending church at all here. Oh ya, I wanna say a BIG thanks to Elvis. Thank you for collating the services and posting the parcel to me! Haven't picked up the parcel yet, but thanks so much, coz it means alot to me! I owe you one!

Okie, gotta go catch some sleep. Have been up the whole night, and it's like morning 5am now. Nights!

PS: Oh ya, Meiling, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I haven't forgotten your birthday k! Wished I cd be there to celebrate with you! But have an awesome one k! Miss you girl!
