Anything Mint goes! Haha, me and my addiction with mint. Met meiling, sam and his gf for dinner on wed at Aerins, the new restaurant at the extended City Hall basement, and the food was not bad! Realized though, that I don't really fancy smoked salmon, too strong a taste; but the mint hot chocolate was simply awesome! Not to mention the deserts too! Well, it's my first good dinner in some time, since femi last left back home. Been eating different kinds of ham every week for breakfast, coz it's the easiest thing to eat and wash up everyday. Ohh, and recently, I kinda got addicted to this thing called "Lei Cha". It's something like rice with nuts and a special vegetable, eaten together with a peppermint-tasting soup! It's really an acquired taste, as I didn't like it at first, but grew to love it now! My dad would get his friend to buy back all the way from Bukit Panjang every wk! But just today, my mummy found it somewhere in Hougang, and bought a packet for me!!! Can't wait to eat it tml morning, as it's too late to eat now after my french class. Anyway, thanks mummy! Realized that I love peranakan food and khek (is it spelt like that) food, coz my mum's peranakan! Hmmm....yummy! Laughs.

French! Class was really interesting today, as we moved on to talk about nouns, descriptive words and names of places, more than just grammer and sentence structure. Learnt how to label most of the things in the house, from the refrigerator, to the electric kettle, sofa, and air conditioner. Haha, guess what, Meeshell made the class laugh out loud, when she said in french: "Johnny Depp is my husband", coz the teacher made her repeat 3 times to clarify that he heard her correctly! laughs. It's a pretty fun class now, as we learn from each other. Everyone erupted in laughter too, when I asked a harmless question on how to call " a cute guy" in french. It was totally hilarious, but definately worth the humour. "Mignon" was the answer (pronounced as mee-neon), which means cute! Ohh, and I learnt many things which I never knew too: like Moulin rouge in french means red mill! And the famous line from my favourite movie, Love me if you dare: "Cap ou pas cap" means are you able? or in other words, do you have the guts to take on this dare? Really interesting yeah!

Thoughts: Level of Saturation. Well, in the midst of all these, I'm still fighting to control my thoughts, coz it defies me ever so often now. Laughs. That statement kinda sounds strange yeah. Oh well, maybe all I need is just time. Not too long, I hope.

shades of black Posted by Picasa

wonder if most times i'm looking at the world through the shades of my tinted eyes, and having a lop-sided view of it. well maybe, maybe not. hmmm guess i've made up my mind on certain things, and won't turn back again. have taken such a long time to internalize the decisions, that perhaps it might just have taken half the effort to forget them all. laughs.

anyway, it's never too late yeah. wink.

Hello! How's your week been? Well, I've had a tiring week though it's the term break, guess the same with many. Have so many things on my mind, perhaps I just need more time to sort them out yeah. Well guess I can take the whole day tml, as I stay home to mug for my mid-terms next week. Hmmm feeling kinda down again, but guess it is human nature, with the twist in life's events. Well, if you ask me, I don't know if tomorrow I'd regret the choices that I've made today, but at least I guess I wouldn't know till then.

Anyway, went down to STA with Meeshell today after the interview, and coicidentally we bumped into Keli and Jacq there, enquiring about the air tics to Paris too. What's comforting were, the cheapest tickets starts from only SGD980, and Emirates was also SGD1020 too! Oh, and students get a baggage allowance of 30kg too, instead of the normal 20! Well, not a bad deal yeah. And considering that we could get a further group discount since there're more than 10 of us going to Paris. Haha, sounds like a mini class trip yeah. Hope I can do some travelling before I start school though...maybe to Greece or London. Any recommendations?

Okies, guess I'll go catch some sleep now. Had a long day, but still many thoughts on my mind.

Well, sleep early too, goodnights!

Canon in D! Stayed over in school the whole of last weekend, mugging for my project, and amazingly what was comforting, was that I found Dex and his friend playing Canon in D on their guitar in a duet outside the Research Lab! Wow! It was really neat, and I recorded it down on my hp! Hopefully, I can learn it sometime toO!

Israel! Was talking to Meeshell, and exploring the possibility of making a trip to Israel while we're at Europe, coz Elvis just left for exchange there on Thursday. He just smsed to say he's reached Frankfurt safely now, and stopping over there to visit a friend. Well, wonder if my parents would agree to that; but anyway, seems Israel is pretty quiet for now, and hopefully it'll stay this way!

Je vous aime. French class is really interesting, and I'm at my 4th lesson now, learning how to count and name the elements in my family tree. Have yet to memorize the words though, so now I'm still stuck referring back to the book. Hopefully, all these will come in handy when I go on exchange!

Term Break! Yeah! Finally I can take a good break for once this coming week. Been slacking the whole day at home today, and feeling kinda guilty; but whatever, I'll just heck it. Anyway, gonna meet up with Meiling and Samuel for dinner on wed! Seldom see Meiling nowadays now, and also, realized I haven't met Sam in a long, long time! If I didn't recall wrongly, the last time I met him was probably after my 21st birthday celebration 2 yrs back. Wow, time flies yeah, and I wonder how things have changed. Anyway, look forward to meeting them, and heys, if you all are free this week, it's your best shot at dating me out! Laughs. Esp dUmbo, I haven't seen her in ages!

Have a great wkend!
