Oooh...counting down to Sunday! Can't wait to go to New York! : )
My typical day. Hmm, it's like 1.16am now, and Meeshell's not back yet. She's probably gallivanting again. Laughs. Feeling so bloated now. Corn just left to catch the last bus back to his dorm. We cooked macaroni cheese, and watched tele while eating! We mixed the macaroni with yummy roast chicken, and it tasted really good! Almost perfect, if not for the fact that Corn poured an extra big dose of pepper, that caused us to gasp for breathe every few minutes (coz it's too hot!). Laughs. We watched The Fugitive on tele, a really old show though. Hmm, Pam's like half asleep already. Guess she's probably too tired. The rest are all wide awake though. Over at the opposite room, everyone's just finished eating too, and are chatting as they wait for their food to be digested. Grins.
Oh dear, gtg again, coz Wenyun's waiting for an important call. Sigh. Anyway, goodnight!

Missing home so much now! But I doubt my mum's missing me though, coz she's just too busy. Sigh. Anyway, I'll be back in August! Gonna meet my mum in Taiwan for shoppingm before I get back. My friends been telling me that Hollister and A&F there is really cheap. Laughs.
Hmm, been talking to Meeshell the past week too, and we both agree that the world we live in now is so surreal. It's just like a life carefree, and without any commitments. It kinda scares me though, how I would have to adapt when I get back. And how we'd have to adapt again when we go for exchange. I'm seriously thinking if I should though.

So excited! 8 days to New York! Planning to take about 2 wks off to travel! Here's my itinerary!
New York. Gonna drive to New York on 31st July, reach on 1st morning. We've booked tickets to the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and not forgetting, Broadway! Other places we planned to visit were Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Wall Street, Central Park, 5th Avenue (where DKNY Soho is!), and Brooklyn! An hour from Manhattan is Woodbury Common, which is the largest outlet shopping, over 200 stores! Oh dear, don't know if I shd be excited or worried about the big hole in my pocket! Laughs. Keith, I'll remember ur belt! Hope I can find a really nice one! : )
San Francisco! After NY, we're gonna fly from JFK to SFO! At SF, there's the famous Alcatraz Island where it used to house prisoners, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, and not forgetting, Silicon Valley! Oh, and there's the Golden Gate Bridge too, and also, Lombard (the most crookedest street in the world). Gonna meet up with my uncle who works at Google.com too, as well as visit the Stanford town and university. Heard the campus is beautiful! Sigh, can't wait!
Las Vegas. It's probably gonna be a short flight from SFO to LAS. At LV is of course, The Strip! It's a whole row of themed hotels! Corn wanted to stay at MGM, but it's so ex! So we decided to stay 2 days at Luxor instead, which sadly isn't much cheaper too! It's the pyramid themed hotel that Liyun used to tell me about! Can't believe I'm gonna stay there! : ) We'll prob spend our day jumping from one hotel to another, coz it's like 160deg at LV now. Laughs. Also, we're gonna rent a car str8 from LAS, and drive to Grand Canyon the next day. Den after, we'll prob head down to Anaehim the following.
Anaehim. Here in the Orange Country, is Disneyland! It's probably the highlight for both Meeshell and I! Grins. The 2-day park hopper costed us like $105 each. Corn will prob just be so bored for the 2 days, coz he's gonna give it a miss. Sorry corn!
Hollywood, LA! Here's only a 40min drive from Anaehim, and prob our longest stay. We're staying right at hollywood itself, so everything's prob within vicinity. Corn's prob gonna fly off earlier, so Meeshell and I will just drive ard, to Venice Beach, Universal Studios, and Long Beach. We thought of visiting Death Valley, which is the hottest place on planet Earth. However, it's like a 5hr drive for me, coz Meeshell hasn't gotten her license yet. I'm more worried about the weather though, coz there is like over 200deg feh, we'll prob just melt in the car. Maybe we shd just drive to San Diego instead yeah. Hmm, we'll figure it out then. But I'm excited to visit Venice Beach though; gonna be so sun-burnt. Ouch! Ha..
Okie, that sums up my itinerary for now. Counting down the days to go! Sigh, wishing you all can be here with me!
PS: Hey Sue, could u give my mum a ring when u get back Spore? Coz she just called me for ur no, but I'm not sure which hp u're using. If u've forgotten her no, just text me k? -Hugs-

Laughs. It's really neat to see the mother duck and her ducklings cross the walking path. Coz everyone wd just stop and watch them waddle across. Really sweet!
Anyway, I'm just so excited! Planning for the trip to New York next sun! Just checked my email, and surprisingly, Corn found a faster route den me to NY! His was 7hr 52mins, and mine was 8hr 22mins! Gonna have to pick up the car from Toledo instead, coz here where I stay doesn't interstate rental for people under 25. Hmm, so I'll be Corn's chauffer for the first time! Konrad, my friend from Poland, was really nice. Coz he was supp to wrk that sunday as a breaker i think, but he took the day off just to fetch me to Toledo (an hr's away) just to pick up the car. Will prob spend the day there instead then. So excited! Coz we booked tickets to Phantom of the Opera! Finally getting a chance to watch at Broadway itself! : )

Haven't blogged in a LOooOOong time! Miss you all SO much! Just talked to Sue and Gerald online. Sue's still in UK, on her travelling, b4 she goes back to Spore to study her bar! Oh Sue, I'm so excited to go HK too! Celine's mum said she can book for us when Celine gets back for hols in think sept? But have to wait for me to come back from China too k! Laughs. I'm finally getting a chance to go China! Just applied for the Business Study Mission module, had a phone interview with the prof back in Spore 2 wks ago, and I got in!! Laughs. At first I thought I wouldn't, coz I had the interview at like 2am (which is 2pm in Spore), and was half asleep. But thank God for it!
School. MeeShell and I are applying for school exchange in Poland next year!! I'm still thinking about it, coz the deadline's in early August. Still checking up which semester's better. The first half year wd be better, coz it's summer. But den again, I'll miss the youth conference again, which I don't want to. Still stuck at a decision. But we're so excited!! Planning to travel Eastern Europe (Croatia, Czech, Russia) during term time, and Western Europe (Italy, UK, Spain, Amsterdam) in hols. Haven't even written out my entry essay yet! Sigh, gotta rush again. Also, I've applied for double degree in Accountancy too. Don't know how I'm gonna clear all my modules by 3 years. Probably have to take summer term every year. Oh dear, lots of planning to do.
Chicago!! I just went there last week!! And I drove there too! In an SUV!! Laughs. My mum was like so mad, coz she didn't want me to drive. But now she's fine with it. I drove for like 6+ hours, with only 1 stop for petrol. There were 15 of us, and we took 3 cars up. I was driving the first car with MeeShell, Gabriel, Chris and Krys. KCGM square. Laughs. I was leading the way, coz surprisingly I'm good at road navigation. It isn't so hard to drive around here though. Chicago was simply awesome! I must upload the photos sometime! I watched a musical there - WICKED! It was like a different version of the Wizard of Oz. And guess what? Dumbo!! I went to the actual Coyote Ugly bar in Chicago!! Surprisingly it was pretty quiet. But, I was so excited to go, coz it's my fave movie! Laughs.
Toledo. Drove up there a wk b4 I went Chicago. It's only bout over an hour's drive. Drove together with MeeShell and the 3 guys Kai, Chris and Mervyl. Went up to Sauder Village, which displays like the old 1800s stuff. Pretty quaint and interesting. Then we went up to Franklin Park Mall for shopping again.
Funny Incident. Chris was really unlucky though. He was driving for a short half hour period from Sauder back to Toledo, when we almost hit a car. And den again back from Chicago, he drove for a short period while I napped. After he took over the car from me, we drove for only about 10minutes b4 we were stopped by the traffic police!! It was partially my fault though, coz he was driving at 55 miles per hour b4, when I asked him to speed up faster. The police spotted us, and followed us for about a mile, before he stopped us (coz the speed limit on expressway was like 65mph). Don't know if it was a blessing in disguise though, coz I was driving 100mph before Chris drove. Laughs.
