Life goes on. Was just looking through the mass of emails which I receive each day, and spotted one which caught my attention. For a long time, I was hoping that person would change and prove all the claims made against him wrong; but still, I see the same self-centeredness inside him, and it makes me sad. Guess some things in life are destined, isn't it.

Recollection. Went for 2 xmas parties yesterday with my parents last night: the first was at Uncle Hong Leong's place, to celebrate Gerald's return from Adelaide for the hols. Gosh, I haven't been back there in ages! Perhaps since I was pri 6! It was my parent's first cell group, back when we were still at PLMC. And remembered while the adults were having cell, the kids would run about and play in their garden. And boy, have all the kids grown up! It was a big surprise, seeing all of my childhood friends there. As most of them were boys, it was strange being the only girl there now; which I never felt so before. I tried hard to recall each of them, especially Uncle HL's kids - Daniel, Mark and Andrew; who had all grown taller than me! I talked mostly with Daniel that night, and as he'd just finished his degree at Cambridge University; we talked alot about Europe, and about the places he had been to. His parents mentioned that they married early, and had their wedding at Glasgow too, a really beautiful place; and it made me look forward to going there! Wow, it was amazing meeting all of them again after a whole decade! I talked alot with my cousin Gerald too, and it was great having him back for Christmas! Dude, we have to meet up again sometime soon yeah, before you fly back to Aust!
Well, the 2nd party was rather much like a doctor's party, held at Aunt Chin Sim's house. She was a health advisor at the Doha Asian Games, and so invited a group of her doctor friends over for xmas. At first I thought I might be stiff bored being there without anyone my age, but I soon realized it was interesting talking to the doctors themselves. One of the couples were from Myanmar, and they told us alot about the culture and living environment there; it was really fascinating! Perhaps I should go Yangon sometime. : ) Met another doing celltology, and they were all interesting, intellectual people. Guess they made my night too.
"And now we call the house to order." Laughs, it makes me recall Nazir's accent. I met up with my friends from debates for dinner this week, and it was hilarious talking to them! Haven't met some of them since my last sem at poly, and wow, it was great meeting them! Especially Ravi, he makes me laugh all the time. It felt different, hanging out with them now as compared to the past, as I've lost my touch with debates; yet it felt like being home, as we used to spend hours together sparring for competitions. Kinda miss being at debates. : )
Khmer food! My fave, ever since I stepped foot in Cambodia. Especially Amok, which is supposedly the national dish; it's simply amazing! Cambodian food is somehow like the non-spicy version of the Thai food, sweet yet a little salty; you'll have to try it for yourself! : ) Daniel was mentioning that there's alot of Cambodian ppl at the Chinatown in Paris! Awesome man! Meeshell, I've got to bring you there to try it sometime yeah!
Ookies gotta go for breakfast with my dad and mum. Catch up sometime!
PS: Try out this game!

First Aider!Yeah! I finally passed my first aid test today, and am a qualified first aider! Was terribly hard though..coz I'd missed the lesson yesterday which was rather important for revision. Was really nervous too, doing CPR in front of the whole class during practice. Nevertheless, glad that it's over! Anyway, kinda glad today, coz I got many of my stuff done. I collected my tickets to Paris, as well as the ISE card, bought a crumpler bag ( a new series of colours were out yesterday!), bought my travel adapter, as well as met sue/gorgeous/sheena for dinner at Sun with Moon. The food there is actually not bad yeah, just a little pricey, coz the portions served were really little.
ookies, gotta go back to packing my luggage. leaving for Vietnam later in the morning, and have barely started packing. haha, it's sotz's last-minute habit returning again yeah. laughs. cya all sometime soon!

Yeah!! Have finished exams and my report! A final sigh of relief! No more exams till next June in Paris, YipeEEe! Any way, guess what? My cousin happened to be my invigilator for one of my papers. Such a coincidence yeah? Well, so glad it's over! Finally I can start planning for all my trips! Oh, but just realized that I'll miss Hazel and Jeff's wedding, coz I'll be in Vietnam. Sigh, kinda sad, coz I missed Donna and Clement's wedding last year too, when I was in China. Oh well, at least I can attend Eileen/Jairus's baby's 1-mth old birthday this Sunday! : ) Kinda look forward to it, coz I've not been out with my cell cg for ages! BBG has been awesome too, and great coz I get to spend more time with my parents.
Oops, gotta rush out now to meet Meeshell! Ta!
