Woah. Time flies. Gonna fly over in less than 10 hours. Still doing some packing, ahh..help! Laughs. Anyway, many thanks for all your presents! Really touched : ) Just came back from CG, and supper with dUm, kw, and their photographer and friend John! CG was good! Thanks so much for accommodating my flight. And supper was good fellowship! Anyway, stay in touch k! I'll try to get internet access as soon as possible. Meanwhile, you all can still sms me! Gonna miss you all! Sigh.

Just watched this italian show called "Looking Window", and it's pretty nice! Gosh, been some time since I last blogged! Finally finished all my papers! Didn't do too well for one particular paper, hope the rest wd be better! : )
Anyway, thanks for all your presents! Oh ya, Yvonne, I like the tatty bear alot! : ) But please don't spend money on me k! Esp sue! Really hope you can come US instead, after your Europe tour! Den maybe we can travel to NY/Chicago ya! : ) Stay in touch k! Oh ya, you all can still sms me while I'm there, coz it'll be the normal local sms charges. But avoid calling, coz it's gonna be really ex for me. Talked to a senior who went last year, and she said there'll be a phone line in each room, so I'll be able to use the internet! : ) Oh ya, but heard from her that she'd put on 6 kg!! That's a lot! Oh dear, I'd better keep a strict watch on my diet there! Just made a deal with Corn to split the food half/half. Laughs.
Packing! Just started today, gosh it was really tiring. Realised that I'm still short of so many things, and yet my bag seems piling! Gotta find some form of luggage compressor ya. Laughs.

Attended svc 5 today, and after, caught the movie "Beauty Shop" with Brian, Keith, Wai Tat and Meiling. It was hilarious! Laughs. Had an awesome time of fellowship at Marche too! : ) Should meet up one more time after my exams ya! Grins.

Just came back from dUmbo's b'day party, and it was good! Kinda tired now, but still somehow can't get to sleep again. Doing some reflection for the past few years, and realized that time really flew by so fast! And life still moves on, even when sometimes you'd wished it wouldn't. Laughs. Reality often hits hard at times too, but it's good ya. Guess these experiences would help shape my future decisions.
Hmmm, it's morning le! Really looking forward to service later! Hmm..kinda planning a short trip with Eunice and ZM to Macau + HK before I leave for US. So only left 1 wkend next wk! Oh dear, gotta start packing my stuff soon, esp my room! Sigh. Feeling kinda lazy all of a sudden. I wonder why? Laughs.

Exams. Oh dear, I'm trying really hard to study, but I just can't seem to concentrate. There's just a 1001 things on my mind that's distracting me. Sigh. Oh Lord, help me!
Taipei. Kind of excited to go! Decided to stop over taipei for a couple of days, bringing the air-fare up to almost $1,800. Haven't been to taiwan before though, hope the weather will be good! I've a childhood friend there too, but wonders if she'll still recognize me? Hmm...kinda doubt so, coz I remember very little of her too. Need extended memory ya. Laughs.
Room Mate. Haven't found anyone to share the room with yet. The girls and guys have separate hostels, and everybody's pretty much paired up; at least for those whom I know are going. Actually, was planning to share a room with Binnie, but unexpectedly, her US Visa application was rejected. She's appealing now, and I hope it gets through. Otherwise, prob have to make new friends with people from other countries, and share a room with them. That sounds not bad too yeah? Perhaps I can get to know more about them and the cultures they come from. : )
I Kissed Dating Goodbye! Laughs. It's the title of a christian book by Joshua Harris, lent to me by Sufeng last week. Finished reading it, and I must say, it is a really good book! Though I've read some other books on relationships previously, it was this book that really made me stop and rethink some of my perceptions of a life partner. As it questions, what matters most to you when you're fifty, and wearing out on your good looks? For me, I want to be able to love the person both inside out, and unconditionally too. Want to be able to watch the person grow old together with me, and smile as we start counting our wrinkles with each passing year! Haha. I'm pretty simplistic yeah. Guess it's just me. Laughs. Tell me yours too!

Service was really good yesterday; got the chance to sit together with Keith and Meiling. After that, we went down to city hall for some shopping. It was a good time of fellowship, coz I haven't been out with them for a while. Sigh. Anyway, Keith just started using msn too! That's great, coz this way we can stay in touch more! : )
Oh ya, funny incident. Was having dinner with Meiling after shopping at NYDC. Then interestingly, we happened to notice the name tag of the waitor who constantly served us was labellled "Chocolate". It's kinda strange name for a guy yeah. Overwhelmed by curiosity, I asked him if it was his real name. To my surprise, he took it as a pick-up line, and started small talk with us. Laughs. It's never too good to be too inquisitive yeah.
Also, just came back from the hair salon. My hair looks kind of like a mop now. Argh. In addition, with my big head, the mop seems to appear increasingly bigger each time I look into the mirror. Sigh. Thinking of how to salvage it now. DOn't laugh when u see me k! Ha..
Oh ya, gotta rem to go down to pay for my air ticket by wed. My flight is kinda crazy. I'm gonna fly from Singapore - Taipei - Newark (An airport in NY) - Cincinnati - and finally to Cleveland in Ohio. Bet it's gonna be ssSssuUUuper long. Sigh. Was kinda touched when Keith said he'll take half a day off from NS to send me off, as mine's a 1.10 flight in the afternoon. Thanks, I appreciate it a lot!
Last, but not least, I'm gonna shift to another blog very soon, while I still have some time to do up the blog b4 exams. So do note down whatever links you want from this page k. : )

Just submitted my last assignment for the whole term. Time has slipped by so quickly again. April's already here, but there's still so many things I wanna do.
Been thinking about some stuff half the day. Just feeling so, so tired now.
Still, I just can't get to sleep.
Was thinking of reading the Bible, and I suddenly thought of the beautitudes.
So thought I'll write it here:
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.

Matthew 5:3-8
Like this verse a lot, coz I feel at peace each time I read it.
It reminds me of the simple things in life which never fail to amaze me.
Simple things, simple events, simple people, a simple kind of love.
So many things I wanna write down, and I wish I could.
