Daddy's testing out the new 29" TV that my grandma gave me. Wanted to put it in my room, but forgot there wasn't a TV point upstairs. : ( So guess it has to stay downstairs for the time being.
Mummy n Daddy just came back from the night market too. For CNY, my neighbourhood's turned into a mini Hougang Chinatown. Laughs. Serious! That's what the magazine called it too.
*Away* Oh, Kang Wei's here. Passed him dUmbo's xmas present. It's been over a month already. Oops, forgetful me!
Anyway, my Daddy just cut down the mango tree behind my house today too. He said coz it wasn't bearing fruit. Well, might as well. But the strange thing was, my Daddy didn't hack the tree down. He just sawed the perimeter of the tree trunk, and he's waiting for the tree to fall on its own. Laughs. Conservation of energy eh? Hope the tree will fall in the opposite direction of my house though. Ha..coz the reverse would be unthinkable. Laughs.
Okie...back to slogging. Have tons of work to do. Hmm..looking forward to svc tml! Oh, and there's choir prac too. Oh ya, my choir team's also composed a song called "I Love You More than Life". It's nice! : )

Was really blessed by yest's cg! I want to be addicted to His presence, just like King David. It takes discipline and commitment on my part yeah; I don't want to shortchange myself of my daily revelations too. So sOtzy, don't be lazy!
Addiction's also the title of the new song bro jeff composed too. It's rock genre, and it sounds good! Bro Darren composed a rap too, and we sang it for praise yest. They're both really good with music! There's so much that I can learn from them yeah!
For school, it's just been so busy. I've to admit I haven't been hardworking at all, at least till now. But things will change yeah. Why so? Coz there isn't a choice not to. Laughs. All my project deadlines are imminently approaching. Sigh. Do buck up, sOtzy!
Just met an old friend of mine from primary school too. She's just back from Australia for summer, and happened to work at one of the Samsung roadshows at school. She made me think back of the choices that I've made over the years. Probably not the best choices, but still viable choices. At pri 6, I'd thought that I'll probably choose a SAP school, enter one of the top 5 JCs, and then study at NUS or abroad. Guess perceptions change eh. I've chosen such a different route, that even I myself am amazed. Laughs. The returns I get for my stubborness are probably the extra time spent taking the long-cut, and opportunity cost from taking the alternative path. But I've never regretted my choices. Coz else I wouldn't have met many of my good friends, such as Lydia, Sheryl, Ushin, Char, and dumbo. : ) So it's a trade-off yeah?
Hohoho. Gotta continue with my work now. Enjoy the wkend!

Before I forget, a big thanks to N152! Was so touched by your farewell gifts! They printed a mini tee with all our faces on it, and carved a silver bracelet with my name on it! Really like them both! Thank you all so much! We'll still keep in touch yeah? And if you're reading this, please help me to relate my thanks to the rest too! Missing you all a lot! I'm serious! : )

Took a lOooong time to get all of them written down! Finally it's done! : ) I'll write most of them here so I'll be reminded of them. So here goes:
1. Finish reading the Bible (by dec '05)
2. Daily QT
3. Win 2 friends to the Lord! (by dec '05)
4. Spend more time with my family! : )
5. Lose weight! (before summer)
6. Gym weekly (this is a tough one. laughs)
7. Do well in studies. (cannot slack le..)
8. Save $1500 for HK trip (after summer)
9. To sleep at least 6 hours daily (new resolution!)
10. Learn a new language (either french or spanish)
11. Finish up my piano grade (prob by '06)
12. Last but not least, be HAPPY! (Smile!)

Disneyland! Can't wait for year-end to come too!! Coz sUe and all are planning for a week's trip to HK!! Yeah! That's sue, sheena, san, gorgeous and me! And sheryl too, if she gets her leave! : ) Dec's a good time, coz sUe will be back from UK for her bar; gOrgeous from Melbourne for summer, sheena from her NZ hols, and me from US too! Can't wait! Coz it'll be the first trip together! Aww...i wish it comes soon! (",)
Settlers. Oh ya, check out this cafe too! We went there on fri to celebrate gab's bdae. Kinda sua ku, coz it was my first time there : ) They have many types of weird and unique board games there that can be played in a group! Pretty cool concept yeah.
Pool. Played pool again today too, with my parents, at Telok Blangah Safra. It was so ex there - $9/hr. But my parents seemed to take a liking to playing pool there. Perhaps coz it's non-smoking. Anyway, I'm surprised that my mum and dad actually plays pool well! My mum always flukes, but my dad's pretty skilled. New revelation eh?
Diving Trip. I have to clear the test before May! I've been delaying it for 1/2 yr le, and Meiling's gonna have exams soon too. Ok, so it's either in wk 8's break, or the wk after that (wk 9). Hmm...so how? Can make it?
Movies! Tml's patron's day, and school ends early! Interestingly, they're giving out free beer after 7pm, but I doubt I'll stay. Ha. Hmm anyway, wanna watch either [Shall We Dance] or [Elektra]! See how it goes ya.
Ahh! It's almost 11! Gonna do some work before I doze off. Okie dope, cya ard!

It's tues! And my usual day off! YipEe! Grins.
New CG! I've just transferred over to Bro Darren's zone this week! Didn't go to gab's cg though; Bro Darren placed me in his own cg. Met my new cg members on sunday! They're really friendly and fun-loving people! : ) And there're quite a few people I know there too! Like Jeff and Hazel, Angel (one of my ex-cgl), and Yvonne! CG's on a friday now, so I'll prob have to go for wed's choir practice with Elvis. But I'm so glad, coz sat's now free. : ) One of the cg member Andy is also teaching guitar to the other cg members on sat! So I can start re-learning again! : ) Can't wait for cg this week!
School! Amidst my core modules, I bidded for Finance and Enterpreneurship this term too. Both are Year 2 and 3 mods, so it's gonna be a really tough sem for me. Enterpreneurship's also 50% project based, and the project is a real-life one. My team's bidding (in real dollars) for the marine automation one, do hope we get it! Waiting for the results to come out...
Addict-ive. I'm been eating at Crystal Jade (Xiao Long Bao) wk in and out! Just the past month alone, I've been with SUe, and den with gOrgeous, with Ushin, with Corn, and just with Sheryl last night! Gosh. Haha...guess the Xiao Long Bao's just simply irresistable eh? Laughs. And I've noticed, I've been buying clothes from Fox each week too! Haha...should stop the shopping frenzy man.

It's only 2nd wk of school, yet I'm feeling so tired. : ( Must be growing old too fast! Grins.
Anyway, I missed choir on sun! Coz last min, my dad wanted a family day out. We went to one of the safra clubs to play pool! The facs there are really cool! After that, we went Joo Chiat for my fave Wanton Mee. : )
Gonna miss svc6 this wk again, coz I'll be going to KL with Sheryl again to settle some of her house stuff. Wonders when I'll ever get to see my new CG. Laughs. Anyway, Meiling will be coming for svc with me this fri! Yeah! Gonna accompany her for some art exhibition earlier in the day, followed by svc, and after I'll leave for KL! : )
Selective Memory. *Away* In my own thoughts. Was just reading the diary that I've kept for the past 2 years. It brought up many memories. Know something? I've always thought that having selective memory was good; that it leaves space for new memories to fill in the gap. But after this period in time, I think I've been wrong. After reading my diary, I've realized that I've forgotten some of my happiest and saddest moments in life. All that I remember vividly now, are only the in-betweens. It isn't good, is it? It makes me a very unfeeling person, coz I've no cares for things in the past. It disables me from feeling the extremes too.

It's been a long week! Well, though I only have a 3-day week, all my modules are fantastically crammed into these 3 days! So it isn't slack at all. SIgh.
Mon: Had class, and after, I met up with Sue, SHeena and Gorgeous for dinner! Sandra's missing as usual. Anyway, we stayed over at Gorgeous's place, and played bridge till bout 3am! Haha...bridge-addicts eh?
Tues: Spent the whole day with them! Went to eat brunch at some traditional kaya bread house at Katong, and then lunched at East Coast Macs! Played bridge again before we headed for the bowling alley for a couple of games. Sue's still as good as ever at bowling though she hasn't bowled in 5 years! Amazing!
Wed: Full day at school! Sigh.
Thurs: Had an school visit to SIA! Though there weren't many eye-candies around, but we managed to walk through all the mock up cabins and classrooms! Tried out the first class seat! Didn't know it costs $250,000 for the set up of a first class seat! Gosh.
Today: Woke up late. Went shopping with Corn in town for presents. After which I left for choir practice. Just came back from supper with my parents. SLeepy. Grins.
*Away* Just talked to ushin! She has a blog of her own now! Click here! It's an interesting blog! But it's in Korean though. Her bf's just been on one of Channel 8's variety programs. Think the "Learn to speak Chinese" show or something. : )
Ooh! So glad! Jia En's coming for svc tml! Was kinda surprised that she sms-ed me to ask if I could accompany her for svc 2. So happy! : ) This week's my first week attending svc 6 too. Haven't settled in the new cg yet; but think I'm gonna miss my former cg members alot! Hope they're missing me too! Laughs. Praying too, that my throat will be better. Else I'll lose my voice before choir on sun.
*Away* Ooh! Sheena's finally gotten on msn! Sigh...my msn list is too full. Have deleted quite a few already. Sigh. Maybe I should just sign up another one on windows messenger, eh? HmMm..

It's 2005 already! Feel I'm growing old-er, too fast! And too soon! Hmm..I wanna stay young! Grins.
Quality Time. ANyway, I spent a whole day with my mum and sister today! Went with her to JB, and we shopped through the afternoon! Bought a 3quarts pants for sch, and a bright top for choir! It's fun shopping with my mum (and without my dad) for a good reason! Coz time and money just seems expandable for that short duration! Laughs. But! I do wanna say that I'm not a spendthrift! Never was, never will. : ) Well, tell you something interesting though! My mum bought...a WIG! Grins. Just for fun, not that she's balding! She just wanted str8 hair for a change, and she's been wearing it the day through, from the minute she paid for it! Laughs. Best of all, no one seems to be able to tell it's a wig! Not even my maid! Keke. So it was a good trade-off for RM59.90. Her cheapest hair expense yet! Laughs.
Resolutions. What's a new year without resolutions? : ) I'm still thinking through mine though, so hang on. I've gotten my good friend to tell me his! Planning to write them down and send it back to him at year end. Grins. Sweet of me yeah?
